Sonora Chrysocolla, "Stone of Communication"

Sonora Chrysocolla is a copper based stone comprised of various minerals including quartz, azurite, malacite, cuprite, tenorite and occasionally turquoise. It is a rare mineral found only in the State of Sonora, Mexico directly south of Arizona. Its hardness makes this stone a pleasure to cut and polish. It is very durable and therefore suitable for jewelry.

Chrysocolla is considered the "Stone of Communication". It is a talisman for musicians as it is excellent for learning new musical instruments, joining a choir, orchestra or theatre group. Chrysocolla also helps one have the confidence to perform or speek in public. A stone for wise women everywhere. Worn or carried, it helps women express their knowledge and experience through writing, painting, music, crafts or acting. Sonora Chrysocolla encourages and facilitates all forms of communication ... conversation, public speaking, art, music, acting, crafting, creating, performing and more!
